Alexander Gold’s singing career skyrocketed after a video of him singing at the Bellefonte Variety Show went viral on Instagram Reels. The video caught the interest of Simon Cowell, who immediately signed Alexander to his label with a 10 album contract. Producers of The Voice caught wind of this and offered him an opportunity to perform on the show in late March.

“I knew I would be discovered as soon as people heard me sing,” Alex said with a smirk on his face.

Bellefonte High students were in awe after the performance and were not at all surprised to hear of his record signing.

“Alexander’s talent is going to take him to the top of Hollywood,” sophomore Peyton Vancas said as other students shook their heads in agreement.

In the weeks leading up to his performance, Alexander spent his time preparing to travel to Hollywood for his major debut on “The Voice.” To do this, he adapted vocal remedies into his daily routine to prepare his voice, by strictly eating a diet consisting of asian pears, lotus roots, aloe vera juices, and honey mixtures.

“People might think it’s weird, but Bruno Mars DMed me the recipe,” Alex said after showing the messages between the two.

On Monday, March 20, Alex took the stage once again. Before he had sung two lines, the judges had been moved to tears by his voice.

“Through all the talent I have seen, he has the most beautiful voice of all. His stage presence cannot be taught,” judge Beyonce said while tears filled her eyes.

It was not long before the small town phenomenon began gaining more and more fame by the day. Paparazzi began flooding the front doors of Bellefonte High to interview Alex.

“We have taken extra precautions on our school security to make sure Alexander is not overwhelmed from the press,” Vice Principal Mr. Caurso said while standing next to the National Guard that surrounded the school.

Alex quickly won “The Voice” and has released an album called “GOLDRUSH.” It has already been nominated for next year’s Grammys for Best New Artist, Song of the Year, and Album of the Year.

His angelic voice resurrected Michael Jackson from the grave, to fight him for the title “King of Pop.” The ghostly battle ended in the Bellefonte High wrestling room with history teacher Mr. Maney deciding the ultimate winner. After Alex’s performance Michael Jackson returned to the grave while Alex  gained the title “King of Pop.”
