Senior Brenda St. Clair plays a big role in our school as a culinary student and club member. She loves spending time with her friends and in the kitchen making new and tasty foods, as well as taking part in many activities at BAHS.
Brenda has many hobbies and interests that she does regularly that make her day go by smoothly and efficiently.
“I like to cook and bake. I also like playing video games and reading comic books,” she said.
Brenda is in Student Council, National Honor Society, Key Club, Class Cabinet, Destination Imagination, and takes Culinary Arts at CPI. She has done many things in her high school career, but what stood out to her the most was going to the States for restaurant services for SkillsUSA.
“I want to go to the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY.”
Brenda also has advice for upcoming seniors, Class of 2025, and how it could help them during their senior year.
“Don’t put off your work too much or it’ll get overwhelming.”
Sophomore Gavin St. Clair is the brother of Brenda, he has supported his sister from the start. He wants her to always follow her dreams.
“I am most proud of Brenda for finding something she loves and sticking with it, working to even make it her career in the future,” Gavin said.
He knows his sister is always up for the challenge, handling it with stride and ease. While leading with kindness in many of her clubs.
“Brenda is persistent, determined, kind, respectful, and incredibly smart. Brenda also helps out in a couple of clubs, including Student Council and Key Club,” Gavin said.
When thinking of his sister, he remembers the times the have spent together during the weekends.
“My favorite memory with my sister would probably be playing Stardew Valley with her (almost) every weekend. I love playing Stardew Valley with her, we both really enjoy the sibling bonding time,” Gavin said.
Close friend, senior Morgan Frazier, gushes about how kind Brenda is and how she acts as a friend to those around her.
“I love how protective she is about the one she cares about,” Morgan said.
As a long time friend of Brenda, they have tons of memories together but ones that stick out are those made in the car.
“My favorite memories with them are crazy car rides and the adventures she takes me on,” Morgan said.
As a member of many clubs, Brenda likes to recruit people to join clubs, and participate in student events and activities. Morgan was ready to go in head first to help.
“Having her rope me into the most random club and activities is something I am grateful for,” Morgan said.
Overall Brenda, wants students to get their work done, but also venture out and join new clubs or classes and have a friend tag along. As a graduate this year, Brenda St. Clair wishes the Class of 2025 the best of luck on their journey as seniors next year.
