The Lady Raiders soccer team have had a strong start to their season going 7-1-1. Junior Angelina Kasak has contributed a lot to their success this year. Kasak has had nine goals so far this season, as the team collectively has nineteen goals for the season.
One goal Kasak has for the rest of the season is to improve overall and be a better team than they were last year. The Lady Raiders are already off to a way better season than past years.
“I am really looking forward to my team working hard to improve and winning districts.” Kasak said.
The support she gets from fans and family always keeps her going during each game. The Lady Raiders have had some difficult games after facing some hard teams. Yet, the support she gets always helps her keep her head in the game. Kasak’s biggest inspiration is her parents and brothers when playing.
“We are always supporting one another and we always want what’s best for each other. I also appreciate my friends and family for always supporting me as well.” Kasak says
Outside of soccer Angelina enjoys watching wrestling, she also works at K2 roots in State College.
Overall Angelina is looking forward to finishing a successful soccer season this fall.
