As the 2023-2024 Lady Raider season comes to an end, the girls celebrate their overall great season. The varsity team ends with a team record of 12-3-1 and junior varsity with 4-2-2. The team’s overall highlight is their win against Hollidaysburg on October 3 with a score of 4-3. The Lady Raiders haven’t won over Hollidaysburg in many years, so the team and fans were all excited for this win. Overall, the team had a major turnaround this season with eleven wins compared to last season of six wins.
Senior, Laura Lodge, expresses her feeling towards her last year as a Lady Raider.
“I think I spent my senior season with the right people and the right team,” Laura said.
Coach Stacey Miller shares her gratitude for an amazing season, and expresses her pride in the team’s success this year. She felt privileged this year while watching them transform on and off the field.
“Throughout this season, you have demonstrated remarkable growth, both as individuals and as a team. Your dedication, perseverance, and unwavering spirit have been truly inspiring to witness. From the very first practice, I could sense the passion and enthusiasm you all brought to the field. You embraced every challenge, absorbed every lesson, and pushed yourselves beyond your perceived limits. Your commitment to improving your skills and supporting one another has been nothing short of exceptional,” Miller says.
Overall, the Lady Raider team is proud of their overall performance and are looking forward to next year.
