Levi’s year in baseball has started off very well and it is arguably his best season yet. Currently he is batting over .500 with three doubles, a triple, and a home run.
After years on the baseball team, it is natural that Levi has learned a lot of lessons and gone through a variety of experiences. These moments have helped him a lot during his time on the baseball team.
“Some advice I would give my teammates and future players would be if you mess up in some way, just think to yourself next play or next pitch, thinking like that has helped me a lot throughout the years,”he said.
Throughout his time on the team, Levi has left an impression on all of his teammates, but especially sophomore Felix Oquendo.
“He has impacted me to do my best and become a well-rounded, strong player that can smack the ball far. I hope he continues being a great person and player for a long time. I’m sad he’s leaving after this year,” Felix said.
Levi has become close with many of his peers not only as a teammate, but also as a friend. Senior Trevor Johnson is one of these people.
“Not only is he a great baseball player, he is also an incredible person. Levi pushes me to become a better player every day, pushing each other to be the best overall team we can possibly be. My favorite memory of him is when he hit a homerun at PO sophomore year,” Trevor said.
On and off of the field, Levi is supportive of his teammates. Senior Braedyn Kormanic has experienced this firsthand.
“Levi is one of the nicest kids you will meet. He always makes us strive to work harder and be a better version of ourselves. Levi has impacted me as a person by making me work harder. He has also been a big supporter of me as he always has my back,” Braedyn said.
This appreciation and admiration isn’t one sided though; Levi has also received support from many people for his season.
“I would say my friends and family being there to support me and my teammates helping me in the off-season would be a big part of my success this season,” Levi said.
After high school, Levi plans on attending Penn College to study computer and electronics engineering and hopes to be able to continue his baseball career there.
