One student who has a good reputation among the students and staff at BAHS is senior Brady Miller. He is seen as an outstanding student and friend, and can be seen on morning announcements each day.
During his high school experience, Brady has been involved in many clubs and activities, including Class Cabinet, National Honor Society, and track and field. He currently fufills many leadership roles as well, including serving as president of Student Council, president of Model UN, president of Ac Dec, treasurer of Spanish Honor Society, and vice president of B’ the Change.
Brady wants to further his education after graduation and plans on going to Pitt or Penn State.
“I plan to study Biochemistry or Neuroscience, and minor in film or psychology, with the ultimate goal of becoming a neurologist,” he said.
Brady is described as a great friend and selfless person.
“He is one of the easiest people to talk to and it’s always fun being with him, but at the end of the day he cares about his friends. He will always be there for you and he cares about everything going on in his friend’s lives. He’s a smart fella and a good actor in all of our video productions. He’s also a good editor and has lots of good creative ideas,” senior Austin Smith said.
In Brady’s time here at Bellefonte, he has had some great teachers, with some of his favorite being Spanish teacher Ms. Emily Zimdahl-McManus, math teacher Mr. Matt McDermit, and AP Psych teacher Mrs. Chris Morris.
“Brady Miller is one of the most personable, trustworthy, selfless, and humble students that I have had the opportunity to teach. While he is a good student, he is an even better person,” Mr. McDermit said.
Not only is Brady a thoughtful student, but he’s a thoughtful person all-around.
“He shows a genuine concern for the well-being of those around him and he has a personality that is larger than life. Brady makes this school and this world a better place,” Mr. McDermit said.
Brady Miller is a great student and a good friend, he’s looked up to by many and has an amazing reputation. His future looks bright as he looks to go on to bigger better things after his last year here at Bellefonte High School.
“He is one of the best people out there and I’m glad to call him my best friend,” Austin said.
Brady leaves the underclassmen of BAHS some advice for their remaining time at BAHS.
“Don’t be afraid to talk, speak your mind, share your opinion,” Brady said.
