An athlete in gymnastics, track and field, and competitive cheerleading, but an academic leader in Class Cabinet and Raider Revolution, this student has a wide variety of interests. Bellefonte High has loved her bubbly smile for the past four years, but this spring we’ll have to say goodbye to 2025 graduate, Paige Jodon.
As a game-day cheerleader, Paige is busy throughout the fall and winter as she is almost always seen on the sidelines supporting football, basketball, and wrestling events.
“My favorite part of high school is all of the sporting events I get to cheer at,” Paige said.
In the competitive cheer season, she has seen much success as a district winner last year. At the same time she competes as a gymnast mainly on floor. However, when spring comes, Paige keeps busy as a pole vaulter and sprinter in Track and Field. Last year, Paige suffered a knee injury at the end of track season, but with persistent work she has been able to participate in all of her activities.
As a leader in Raider Revolution, Paige organizes school events from pep rallies to the Variety Show. She also supports her class specifically by dedicating a piece of her time to fundraising in the Class Cabinet.
Paige’s favorite class is Child Development with Miss Amy Barth. She loves the class for both the teacher and the work, as she wants to work with kids when she is older.
“Paige grows up every day. She is learning to let little things roll off her shoulders instead of letting small things control her,” Miss Amy, said. E
Miss Amy jokes that one of her favorite parts of Paige is the look she gives when she doesn’t like the project for the day.
“But I love her anyway,” Miss Amy said.
Senior year can often be a sentimental time as you look back on all the hard work you’ve put in over the past 13 years. During the end of senior year at Bellefonte, there are lots of fun class events.
“I am most excited…to make a couple more memories with the people I grew up with,” Paige said.
After graduation, Paige plans on attending Lock Haven University where she wants to dual major in Early Education and Special Education.
With over four years in the Bellefonte School District, Paige gives advice to the underclassmen.
“Cherish the time you have because it does go by fast,” she said.
She also thinks that it’s never too late to try something new at Bellefonte, like a club or sport.
Though Bellefonte will miss her, Paige is moving on to the next phase of her life, but not without many lessons learned and memories made. Lock Haven is lucky to have her!
