Carter Johnston is a name well-known throughout our school. Carter is a very involved member within the school; from sports to Raider Nation, Carter is truly the embodiment of Raider pride. 

Known by many to be a hardworking, funny, and kind individual, Carter has a reputation that is downright remarkable. It is because of this that many within the student body view Carter as the perfect example of a Bellefonte student. 

Not only that, but he has a good relationship with practically every teacher or faculty member that gets to know him. 

“Carter always had a good sense of humor; with that he was very polite and kind, and I really enjoyed having him in class,” science teacher Mrs. Drew Eddinger said. 

Amongst his numerous sports and other accolades, Carter is a friend to all. As most would agree, he shows kindness to everyone around him, and seems to touch everyone’s life in some kind of way. Selected as the senior spotlight, it is clear that Carter fits the category perfectly and is a fitting role model for all within Bellefonte High.

Carter has spent the last four years growing as a football player and a person at Bellefonte, and believes strongly that his life has changed for the better.

“It [Bellefonte Athletics] has impacted my life because it taught me teamwork and commitment,” he said.

In addition to the lessons Carter learned from athletics, he was also proud of his successful high school career.

“I am most proud of just making it through high school.”

 Additionally, many at Bellefonte believe the sky’s the limit for Carter, as he has

proven himself to be one of the most influential students at Bellefonte. 

“Carter is a light to the school. Everywhere he goes he brings positivity and is always smiling. He has contributed a very good energy to the school and has made everyone else around him feel like a better person,” senior Liam Halterman said.

Carter is truly one of the most beloved members of our school, and has gained the respect and admiration of all that know him.
