This month, like every year, we celebrate Valentine’s Day. Couples buy each other gifts, and friends tell each other it’s okay to be single. But most of all, everyone stresses over asking their special someone to be their “Valentine.” At Bellefonte there are a couple of people who we think are the obvious, perfect valentines for each other! We think these matches are made in heaven, but you might not. Do you Ship or Dip these pairs?
First up, we have Ryder Hamilton and Sadie Ripka. These two are the senior Raider Nation heads, making them spend a lot of time together. They both bring the energy at every event, and never let anyone talk smack on Bellefonte. Any themed activity they go all out in their matching outfits. With their spark they would ignite the spirit at our pep rallies!
As we all know love comes in many forms, including bromance. Seniors Liam Halterman and Peyton Vancas are a perfect example of this. Anytime they’re together they are seen linked to one another. Personal space isn’t in the name of their game as they just can’t get enough of each other. Either of their significant others might get jealous when they see the bond these two have. But, like many say, pals before gals, or misters before sisters!
We all know that feeling when you love your friends or colleagues. From their friendly interactions in the hallways between classes, to using morse code to communicate through the walls, history teachers Mr. Maris and Mr. Fitzgerald have a connection like no other. If you look at the right time, you can see them talking through the brick wall separating them. Sometimes when the students are busy, you can see Mr. Maris takes his pen and picks at the wall, hoping that one day, he can make a hole big enough so it’s easier for them to talk about history together. A man can only dream.
A healthy relationship: It’s what most people want in a relationship. A perfect example of this is Health and Gym teacher Mrs. Hamilton, and Foods teacher Mrs. Weaver. Not only do they look alike, but their professions make sense together. They are seen hanging out outside of school, and talking one on one with each other. But aren’t sisters supposed to fight? So, do you Ship or Dip these Bellefonte couples? This Valentine’s Day, don’t sit around feeling sorry for your lonely self, but celebrate all of the happy couples you get to watch.
