One of the most competitive and breathtaking events in sports entertainment is March Madness. Not much can compare to the spectacle that is March Madness. If you are unsure of what March Madness is, it is a yearly March tournament in which 68 D1 men’s basketball teams play a bracket-style tournament through the whole month of March.
March Madness is like the MLB postseason for NCAA basketball. There are always heavy favorites in the tournament and there are always underdogs making a big impact. You can’t write this stuff, this is truly unpredictable.
One thing that makes fans all over the country so excited is that they get to create and predict their brackets. Brackets can be played in several ways, whether it’s country-wide and you gamble and bet on brackets, or just with your family, or just by yourself.
For some people, this is the greatest time of the year for all sports in general, professional or not. This event has something about it that makes the whole world buzzing. This event brings in so much money every year, so genuinely, you’d think that there would be a reason for that, right?
There have been so many shocking moments in March Madness. Whether is was the rise of Loyola Chicago in March Madness in 2018. They made some say “A Cinderella Run” in 2018 and made it to the Final Four as a team that people thought would for sure go down quickly.
This whole event is based on skill and luck. That’s just the way the game is played. Knowing that you have a chance to be the best of the best in all of college basketball. This year there are some teams that are no strangers to the Finals that have a chance to get back. Teams like Duke, Arizona, Alabama, etc.
With the many events in March that have come and gone, there were many things to be excited about, including Saint Patrick’s Day and warmer weather, but the thing that represents this month in the world of sports is March Madness. Now, truly, the only question is, who’s it gonna be?
