With every spin and toss, Breanna Dickey turns the ordinary into extraordinary. Breanna Dickey is a senior at Bellefonte High. Beginning at the age of only four, Breanna has shocked the world.
One of Breanna’s favorite aspects of twirling are the experiences and challenges she has to face, and the connections she makes along the way.
“One of my favorite aspects of twirling is the opportunities it gives me. I have been able to travel around the world and meet so many amazing people! This sport has also taught me a lot of important life lessons that I will carry on throughout the rest of my life,” Breanna said.
Breanna began twirling at four years old and began competitive twirling at seven years old. She is a diligent and dedicated worker in twirling.
“Breanna is one of the hardest workers I have ever met. If she has a goal, she will do whatever is needed to meet it. She is an incredible leader that inspires her teammates to be better through both encouragement and modeling. Beyond this, she is not only motivated to be the best twirler that she can be, but this also bleeds into her work ethic in the classroom and her dedication to the community. Breanna always puts forth the best version of herself no matter the setting,” Science teacher Mrs. Davy said.
After her years at BAHS, Breanna plans to continue her career in twirling at a division 1 college as a featured twirler and continue competing internationally, representing Team USA.
Breanna Dickey looks up to her coaches Jon, PJ, and Bower. They push her to be the best version of herself as a person and athlete.
