Most often found in the Fine Arts Department, Eli Breon has managed to keep himself very busy throughout his four years of high school.

Eli plans on going to Penn State to major in biology once his senior year is over. But for now, he is involved in Choir, Chorale, Concert Band, Drama Club, Jazz Band, Marching Band, and PMEA festivals.

“I’m definitely going to miss the Choir and every aspect about singing that I’ve had the fortunate experience to have had,” Eli said.

The Fine Arts Department is where Eli met some of his closest friends, including senior Anna Kate Scott, who loves that he’s not afraid to show his true colors.

“He’s super sweet and has a pretty good sense of humor and it’s like he always makes an effort to be kind to others even if they’re not always nice to him,” Anna Kate said.

Eli’s kindness has been recognized all throughout the school, from students to faculty alike and has spread that to those around him.

“He has helped me identify the importance of being a good person to others and yourself, and how to find the good in every situation,” senior Halle Mitchell said.

Having the ability to talk to anybody is a characteristic that very few genuinely have, Eli is lucky enough to have that.

“I remember interviewing him to take my AP class when he was a sophomore and he just came across as a kid who was very passionate about learning about social studies. He also seemed to be a really good conversationalist and had a really good sense of humor. I enjoyed the interview and the conversation that day,” government teacher and interim Vice Principal Mr. Matthew Martin said.

As teenagers, it can be hard to keep up a good work ethic but for Eli, that’s just part of who he is, which is something governments teacher Mrs. Allyson Durney can agree with.

“Eli is a very conscientious, hardworking student.  He took on multiple AP courses last year and fully committed himself to all of his academics, in  addition to participating in various fine arts extracurricular activities. He eagerly shares what he knows and is a willing participant in class discussion,” Mrs. Durney said.

The greatest effect Eli has had others would be making them see how his kindness has changed others.

“He has helped me to grow and become a better person overall,” senior Mason Keeler said.

Eli always sticks out in people’s memory and is always sure to leave an impression by never forgetting about anybody.

“He still comes back to see me and talk about what we are doing in class. He brightens my days when I see him,” Mrs. Durney said.

While making others have better days, Eli has created many special memories while in high school that he hopes to never forget, including being able to sing with chorale almost every morning.

“It always puts me in a better mood, even if I’m having the worst of days because singing is both a way to create art and ventilate at the same time,” Eli said.

Eli’s constant good mood is what makes him stand out during and after class.

“I think he was really a leader in the classroom with all of his peers; he was somebody who just made the class better,” Mr. Martin said.

Overall, Eli’s good heartedness is something Bellefonte will never forget and will always have an impact on those around him.

“Eli reminds me to always be kind to everyone no matter who they are and I think a lot of people would agree with me on that,” Anna Kate said
