It’s that time of the year again. Everyone is getting ready for the holidays and holiday movies are the best way to get into the spirit. They are always very heart warming and can make many people happy. Here are just a few popular ones from the many out there:

The Polar Express– This one is about a boy who doesn’t believe in Santa. Since he doesn’t believe, a train arrives at his house in the middle of the night on Christmas Eve and it takes him to the North Pole to meet Santa and the elves. There are many other kids on the train including a boy named Billy who doesn’t have any friends and has never had a great Christmas. There is also a girl on the train who is very kind hearted and cheerful. Together the three kids go to the North Pole on an adventurous train ride. This movie is full of adventure and will keep people on the edge of their seats.

Elf– In this comedic movie, a baby turned into an elf when he crawled into Santa’s present bag when Santa visited an orphanage. The baby was taken to the North Pole by mistake and ended up growing up there as an Elf named Buddy. When he becomes an adult he decided he wanted to meet his real parents who live in New York City. The movie is about Buddy’s trip to New York City and how he gets to meet his family. The movie is very humorous because Buddy has never been around normal people who aren’t elves, so he doesn’t know anything about the real world.

He is different from all of the other reindeer so he his made fun of for it and he isn’t allowed to pull Santa’s sleigh with the other reindeer. One Christmas Eve is really foggy and Santa can’t see through the fog, so he decided to have Rudolph lead the sleigh because of his glowing nose. His nose allowed Santa to see and Christmas was saved and the other reindeer became friends with him. This movie is a Christmas classic and great for all ages, it’s cute and family friendly.

Home Alone (the original)– This movie is about a boy named Kevin McCallister who is left home alone during Christmas break. His family was going on vacation but happened to forget that he was still at home while they were boarding the plane. This leads to complete chaos as Kevin’s family tries to contact him.
