The sun is shining on a warm spring day, with colorful Easter eggs scattered in the grass. Children laughing and playing, music playing, and families making memories they will remember forever. You can find all of that at the annual Bellefonte Easter egg hunt.
On April 4, Talleyrand held its annual Easter egg hunt. The Easter Bunny arrived at 1:00, and the egg hunt started at 2:00. There were almost 15,000 candy-filled eggs in the park. There are also eggs with special tickets for the big prize table, which includes prize baskets and bikes. The prize table was located in the Bellefonte children’s garden. It was divided into age groups and even included a special-needs group to ensure everyone was included. There is no entry fee or registration.
The egg hunt is free to all children under 12 years old. Things like clubs, churches, banks, businesses, and fire companies donate the eggs with candy in them. Volunteers were highly encouraged, and the community really showed up for the occasion. This event is an amazing way for the community to gather and have fun. It is also a good way to get everyone outside and in the easter spirit.
It is encouraged to arrive early as the park fills up quickly and eggs can be gone in just a few minutes. This event is not just for the kids; there are lots of activities for all ages, like train rides and live music. This is an annual event, and locals look forward to it every year. It brings so much joy and creates amazing memories for families.
