The 2026 Issac awards have officially ended and Bellefonte was represented immensely. Bellefonte had three winners in the Isaacs and those names would be sophomore Emily Schreffler for her role as Janet Van De Graff, sophomore Evan Edwards and senior, Charles “Bennie” Grieb for best featured dance/dancers.
Also some huge shoutouts should be made to Logan Sedgewick for winning Bellefonte’s MVP award and scholarship. Jalyn Meckley who represented Bellefonte’s performance for the opening number along with Bennie Grieb. The two performed “I’ll Be Back” from the play Hamilton.
This was such a huge moment for the winners and Bellefonte as a whole. Many students from Bellefonte High were nominated for awards because of the amount of star talent that is in the drama club.
Even if some did not win the award that they were nominated for, there is still no reason to put your head down and be upset about it. The people that were nominated and especially the people that won are definitions of hard work and dedication towards what you do.
Bellefonte High was represented to the highest degree even by students.
