Multitasking is a hard skill that most people struggle with. Emma Holsinger is a Pro at it. She is involved in Club America, Key Club, Class Cabinet, Prayer Group, FFA, National Honor Society, Big Brother Big Sister, and Young Life. She is also part of the girls’ track team and was a girls’ basketball manager.
Emma is always a friendly face. She is outgoing and always ready to help. She is a dedicated athlete. Emma is on the girls’ track team. She is a very competitive athlete, and that gives her a leg up against the competition. She is always striving to get better and improve her game. This is what has helped her get to the next level for track.
“I would say that what sets Emma apart is her willingness to take on a challenge. Emma pushes herself – both in sports and activities and in academics- to give her best effort every time. When a situation is challenging, she steps up, works harder, and puts in the extra effort,” says English teacher, Mrs. Anne Maddox.
Emma is a very involved student, and one of the reasons for that is that she is so dedicated to helping others.
“My favorite part about Emma as a student is her commitment to community service and volunteering. She actively gives her time by participating in groups such as Key Club and Big Brothers, Big Sisters. Helping others is a truly admirable trait,” says Mrs.Maddox.
Emma’s passion for helping others is what has driven her to choose what she wants to pursue in the future. Emma plans on attending Clarion University and majoring in Speech-Language Pathology. She also plans on furthering her athletic career on the Clarion women’s track and field team.
“The thing that I am most passionate about is helping children, specifically with their speaking skills.”
Looking back on Emma’s high school years, some of her favorite memories are from track and some competitive Uno games and memorable conversations in her home room. Whether it’s on the track or in the classroom, we know that Emma is going to succeed no matter where she goes!
