As the komorebi shines through the trees, a ray of light hits the golden metal of her instrument. Her fingers flip through the pages between the cover of her favorite novel, a gentle smile raising her cheeks. After finishing the chapter, she closes the book. She slides the book into her bag and throws it over her shoulder. As she grabs her French Horn, a buzz comes from her phone, and a text pops up; “Julia, you coming??”
With a passion for music and the world around her, Julia Weiser is the perfect candidate for nature’s friend. She spends her time producing songs and losing herself between the pages of a different world.
“My favorite hobby has to be reading! It lets me decompress after a long day at school or rehearsals and always brings me joy!” said Julia.
Aside from her engagement in the ecosystem, Julia also finds herself immersed in her school work. Her grades range from A’s to B’s, and she eagerly joins all the clubs that she finds interesting. For Julia, doing good is easy when you enjoy it.
“I am a part of multiple groups in and out of the high school! I have been in the marching band for six years! I have been in FFA for four years! I have been a part of the Drama Club for four years! I have also been a Girl Scout since kindergarten!” said Julia
Throughout all grade levels, nobody knows Julia of anything less than an amazing friend. Though unfortunately leaving us before the end of 2026, Julia has definitely left her mark in people’s minds.
